Cadence serves your education needs in North America from five regional training centers. If you prefer training at your location, we also offer onsite training programs that provide the same high-quality training experience and materials as our Cadence centers. In addition, Virtual Classroom training lets you get the benefits of Cadence education without the cost and time of traveling to a Cadence training center. Self-paced education programs are also available to help you learn at your convenience. 

Our training blueprint approach and online learning management system (LMS) provide easy and highly effective ways to plan and track curriculum for your design teams.

North America Training Policies and Procedures

Confirmation and Payment

Confirmation of your enrollment will be made within one week of registration. Once enrolled in a class, you can guaranteed registration by one of the following:

  • Verification of existing customer training purchase order number
  • Receipt of a hard copy purchase order
  • Receipt of a check made out to Cadence Design Systems, Inc.
  • Visa, MasterCard, or American Express number and expiration date

Payment must be received before the start of class. If payment verification is not received two weeks before class, your registration may be cancelled.

Class Hours and Attendance

Classes begin at 9:00am and end at 5:00pm. In some cases, the last day is a half-day and class ends around noon. To start a class, a minimum of six students is required for a Public training and a minimum of eight students is required for a On-Site Private training.

Course Certificates

Students may take a completion exam. A passing score of 75% will make them eligible for a Certificate of Completion.

Cancellation Policy

Failure to attend or cancellation of a class with less than two weeks notice will result in a cancellation penalty equal to 100 percent the cost of a class.

Cadence reserves the right to cancel a scheduled class 2 weeks prior to the class start date. Students will be notified immediately of future courses.

To register for courses, please provide the following:

  • Your full name
  • Company name, address, and mail stop
  • Telephone and fax number
  • Email address
  • Name of your Cadence Sales Representative
  • Class name, starting date, and location
  • Method of payment

We require a personal or corporate credit card to hold your course enrollment at the time of the booking.

Unless we receive a formal payment document such as an original Purchase Order, a fax of a Purchase Order or a company check prior to the start of your course, the credit card provided will be billed for the entire class fee. Fees are billed on the first day of the course.
