Course Description
In this course, you explore the Allegro® EDM interface. You create a new project from scratch with the new project wizard. You use the Design Migration utility to migrate a design from the DE HDL environment to the Allegro EDM environment. You will also use the Revision Managers to verify and update schematic and footprint symbols to the latest version in the Component Database. You create a new schematic, run a search for parts, add the parts to the schematic using the Part Information Manager and shopping cart, and place the parts in the schematic. You then take the design to layout, place and route the design, and backannotate the layout changes to your original schematic
