In other companies, Cadence software administration might be less formalized, falling somewhere between the IT group and the end users themselves. So the audience is quite diverse. The course content focuses on the environments that are most common, while still providing help with alternate scenarios.

This course requires a generic installation environment where you can customize and test project and tool setup. Special customer environments would need to be temporarily disabled to support lab activities. The most common operating system used by our SPB customers is Windows. The setup and customization labs are written mainly for the Windows platform, but may be adapted for use on Linux platforms as well.
