California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) is for California residents only and supplements the Privacy Policy. Terms referenced in this Notice have the meaning assigned to them in applicable California law.

  1. Categories of Personal Information

    The table below provides information about the categories of California consumers’ personal information that Cadence collects and processes, as well as which categories of personal information we disclose to third parties for our operational business purposes, including within the 12 months preceding the date this Notice was last revised. The chart also details the categories of Personal Information that we “sell” to third parties or “share” for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising, including within the 12 months preceding the date this Notice was last revised:

  1. Sensitive Personal Information.

    We collect, process, and disclose sensitive personal information for purposes of: providing goods or services as requested; processing job applications; ensuring safety, security, and integrity; countering wrongful or unlawful actions; short term transient use such as displaying first party, non-personalized advertising; performing services for our business, including maintaining and servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, providing analytic services, providing storage, or providing similar services on behalf of our business; activities relating to quality and safety control or product improvement; and other collection and processing that is not for the purpose of inferring characteristics about an individual. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond these purposes.

  2. Retention Periods

    We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Notice and governing Privacy Policy. The criteria used to determine such retention periods include: (i) the length of time we have an ongoing relationship with you; (ii) whether there is a legal or business obligation to which we are subject; or (iii) whether a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, for example to maintain certain contractual or tax records.

  3. Your Rights.

    You may, subject to applicable law, make the following rights requests:

    1. Access. You may request that we disclose to you the following information:

      1. The categories of personal information we collected about you and the categories of sources from which we collected such personal information;
      2. The business or commercial purpose for collecting ,”sharing,” or selling personal information about you;
      3. The categories of personal information about you that we sold or “shared” and the categories of third parties to whom we sold or “shared” such personal information;
      4. The specific pieces of your personal information; and
      5. The categories of personal information about you that we otherwise disclosed, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed such personal information.
    2. Correction. You may request to correct inaccuracies in your personal information.

    3. Deletion. You may request that we delete your personal information that we have collected from you.

    4. Opt-Out of Sale. You may request to opt out of the “sale” of your personal information.

    5. Opt-Out of “Sharing”. You may request to opt out of the “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

  4. Exercising Your Rights.

    You may make any of the above requests by contacting us at privacy@cadence.com or by calling us at 1-833-926-0704. We will verify respond to your request consistent with applicable law, taking into account the type and sensitivity of the personal information subject to the request. Depending on the nature of your request, we may ask that you or your authorized representative, as applicable, provide verification of identity (e.g., government-issued ID).

  5. Authorized Agents.

    If an agent would like to make a request on your behalf as permitted under applicable law, the agent may use the submission methods noted in the section entitled “Exercising Your Rights.” We will process the agent’s request consistent with applicable law. As part of our verification process, we may request that the agent provide, as applicable, proof concerning their status as an authorized agent. In addition, we may require that you verify your identity as described in the section entitled “Exercising Your Rights” or confirm that you provided the agent permission to submit the request.

  6. Updates to this Notice.

    Cadence may supplement or amend this Notice from time-to-time, and will post a revised Notice on our Sites, and update the “Last Revised” date below. If we make material changes to the way we collect, use, or disclose your personal information, we will notify you by any additional means that are required under applicable law.
