Cadence Online Support
Access to technical support is available to the licensing professor and the technical liaisons. Each contact will receive a Cadence® Online Support account which gives them access to create a service request, download software, and all resource material. Limited Online Support is available to other university staff, faculty, and students. A limited account will allow the user to perform searches within the online database for product information, solutions, help documents, technical bulletins, application notes, release patches, etc. Learn more
Rapid adoption kits (RAKs) are self-packaged test cases developed to aid users with learning specific technology at their own pace. They include design, libraries, scripts, application notes, and, in some cases, videos. Learn more
Generic process design kits (GPDKs) and standard-cell reference libraries provide users with Cadence® Design Tools and Virtuoso® and Encounter® flows. They are intended to be representative of the actual semiconductor processes. Learn more
After License Renewal, Technical Liaisons are able to download media at their convenience using their online support accounts.
Training on Cadence Tools
The licensing professor and the designated technical liaisons are able to attend two in-person Cadence tools training classes free of charge on a space-available basis per year. Classes are also available on the internet through The Internet Learning Series (iLS), also free of charge. In addition, others at the university can take online courses free of charge with the approval of the licensing professor or a technical liaison. For more information, email email@example.com.
