Extending the Power of MathWorks MATLAB Inside the Virtuoso ADE Suite

In the latest release of the Virtuoso ADE Explorer and Assembler tools, Cadence has created a new integration with MathWorks MATLAB, allowing the user to harness the post-processing power of various MATLAB-based expressions to provide higher-performance calculations than what was previously achievable. In this example, we will be analyzing an SRAM cell to determine the impact of various voltage levels on the read delay of the circuit. You'll see how to set up measurements with MATLAB and share them with the Virtuoso ADE Suite to be evaluated in the Data View window. You'll also see how to take advantage of the three-dimensional plots within MATLAB to create contour plots when analyzing measurements that contain two or more swept values.
