 With a full staff of PCB engineers and designers, Monsoon has the expert resources needed to support multiple PCB design projects in parallel and to expedite critical boards. Monsoon currently has 7 full-time Sr. designers. All of our designers have over 10 years experience, with some having more than 25 years. Our designs are performed by our own employees. We do not rely on outside contractors, and we do not sub-contract your job to an unknown outside entity. With Monsoon you are always welcome to drop in, call, or email to get an immediate status on your design project. Engineers are more than welcome to sit beside to our designers at their workstations and work out solutions for critical design items in person and in real time.
 Monsoon designers have a very broad range of expertise. We design every type of circuit board; from large validation boards with multiple 1200 pin BGAs and very complex routing requirements, large power supply/convertor boards greater than 40 amps, extremely dense cell phone type devices with .2mm pitch BGAs and 01005s, to simple boards with 2 three pin connectors. We can function as your company's virtual PCB design department, or as an addition to your existing staff during peak periods. Should you need a simple rev to a board we have done, or you have lost your existing files, we maintain all copies of all designs and libraries on our secure severs. Our focus is providing design work that suits our customer's electrical, mechanical and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) requirements.
 Once your design project is complete, Monsoon will provide a standard or customized deliverables package which contains everything you will need for manufacturing and future design work. This includes gerber files, drill files, fabrication and assembly drawings, pick and place programming files and the complete design databases. Your deliverables package will be sent electronically, with a copy on CD-ROM at your request.
For most customers, Monsoon provides more than just design support. We have 3 full-time program mangers working solely to deliver finished PCB assemblies direct to your door. We usually work with quantities of 5 - 1,000. We begin by purchasing electronic components while your board is still in the design stage. Once you approve your design, we immediately send the fabrication files to one of the best suited fabricators in the country. At this stage we order stencils for the assembly and prep our assembler with all of the required drawings and files. Once we receive the bare boards back, we immediately get the boards started in assembly. Having very close relationships with our manufacturers allows us to turn builds at expedite speeds for minimal price.
