PALLADIUM ACCELERATOR/ EMULATOR

An integral component of the Incisive verification platform, Palladium delivers hardware acceleration and in-circuit emulation in a single system. Palladium provides flexible debug and advanced verification environment that includes transaction and assertion-based acceleration solutions.
Palladium supports full system verification by incorporating peripherals, embedded processors, multiple ASICs, embedded software, and real-world data. Palladium delivers up to 10,000x simulation performance in emulation mode or when regression testing with an embedded testbench. This level of performance enables the ultimate goal of SoC verification-comprehensive application-level software testing.
Up to 16 users can share the total capacity of the system, simultaneously and independently accelerating or emulating different portions of the design. And with the remote access capability of Palladium II, design teams and/or customers around the world can get access to the design for verification, evaluation, design-in, and software development long before silicon is ready.
For simulation users that need more performance, Palladium II features Acceleration-on-Demand-which enables you to swap Incisive Unified Simulator licenses for acceleration/emulation capacity and performance at runtime.
Cadence can also provide complete verification solutions for design applications in wireless, multimedia and networking markets by combining Palladium II with Cadence SpeedBridge products, third-party testers, and memory model products. This combination can provide real-world verification running at 10's to 100's of MHz.
