To ensure that simulations being performed on the circuit are accurate, designers need to guarantee the accuracy of the simulation models. Advanced device modeling involves the creation of silicon-accurate simulation models by making direct physical measurements from a silicon test chip and using a process to translate those measurements into silicon-accurate device model parameters.
