    Merging an overlapping shapes on Package Geometry Reply

    How to recognize overlapping Package Geometry shapes and to merge them, by Skill in the Allegro Package (DRA format) PCB Performance 220(Studio Performance) release 15.5.1 environment? Appreciated any ideas and/or example code. Thanks, Shimon

    Hi Shimon,

    Use the axlPolyOperation command

    eg:
    mergedPolys = axlPolyOperation(car(axlPolyFromDB(shp1)), car(axlPolyFromDB(shp2)), 'OR)

    Cheers, Dave
