Hello Keshavan,

The group means either it contains nets or symbols.

For example I have created a group name called "DDR_DATA" and contains a nets DDR_D0 to D15,DDR_S0 and DDR_M0.I need to copy this hole group into another new board of same kind, without creating it manually.

Try by exporting through subdrawing (your entire group) and then improting into your new layout?

    Best Regards

It sounds like you want to Reuse Design from one board to another. As Kishore stated creating a Sub-Drawing is the easiest way to go but it will not contain any logic or net connections between the devices. As long as you have the logic replicated on the schematic side all you will need to do once the Sub-Drawing is imported into the target design is to assign the reference designators to the symbols. You may have to play games with the vias and traces to have them assign to the correct net but if you place the Sub-Drawing outside the board outline then everything should assign correctly and you won't have to deal with vias attaching to the wrong nets.

    Hope this helps,
