    Newbie need Help!!! Reply

    Hi all,

    I'm Mech Designer at a small company in San jose. My company have a Allegro 14.1 and Orcad 9.268 which is no one use and know about it so I would like to learn to use it but I can not find any local school that teaching Allegro 14.1 and Orcad. Any one can help me to go for this path (become PCB Designer). what do I need to do? what class should I take? what book could I buy? Etc...
    Any information greatly appreciate.

    BTW: I did have a Pcb layout level 1 from Copper Connection 6 years ago( forgot what I have learn).

    Have you considered contacting Cadence and setting up training with them? Allegro 14.1 is not the latest release, but if you are current with maintenance you could easily move to the latest with both products AND get what you need as far as training goes.
