ConceptHDL Library - Open up cell by PART_NUMBER defined in part table Reply

I have a ConceptHDL library question using Part Developer.  Currently you have the ability to open a cell by selecting the library and cell name, what I was looking for is to open a cell for a particular PART_NUMBER.  Our library is configured with Cell Level PTF files so for most Cells we have only one PTF entry unless it is discrete components which share the same common symbol.

What I have been doing is open up ConceptHDL and use the search capabilities inside the Component Browser to find the cell name for a particular PART_NUMBER and go back to Part Developer to open the cell for modification.

Is there an easier way ?  I am currently using 15.5.1 PCB Librarian Expert on WinXP.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike,

Don't know of anyway to do this, other than the method you describe or using some other search mechanism (we have a web-based search tool) to derive the partname. Finding the part by partnumber (or any other criteria) would be a excellent addition to PDV. Sounds like a PCR to me.
