Making resistor network both ‘function’ and ‘pin’ swap-able..... Reply

How does one go about making (or changing) a resistor network so it can be both ‘function’ and ‘pin’ swap-able, with-in the same network and also between networks of the same value- at the PCB editor level? I’m hoping that this is a simple thing to do, since I have something like 100 networks on a PCB that need to be swapped (both pin and function (gate) wise)- THANKS……

If the functions are exactly the same (the same part, same value, etc.) then by default they will be swappable between different packages. For example two instances of a four element resistor network, partname "RESPAK,10K,5%", first instance assigned to "R1"
and second instance assigned to "R2".

In Allegro by default any of the four elements of "R1" will be swappeble with any of the four in "R2".

Of course, you have to use individual resistor representation to be able to swapp beetween packages: it can not be done if you "group" resistors en same symbol body.
