    Via Extraction Reply

I am doing a via extraction using sigxplorer. The extracted s-param data is not in touchtone format.

How to extract or convert this in touchtone format? I want to connect this extracted via in HSPICE deck.

How to make it compatible to hspice? I almost spent more than a week with support, I really appriate quick help on this.

    Thanks,
    -Bobby

    Bobby,
It should be saved in the working directory and it should be named as s?p(s2p for 2 ports, s4p for 4 ports, etc.). You can use it directly in other tools (such as HSpice, etc.)

If you want to use S-parameter via model thru HSpice simulator in SigXp, you can use DML format model. Software will translate for you automatically.

    Hoep this helps.
