    ask one question about ibis model Reply

    I am want to compare the two ic compatibility,so i use their ibis model to simulate by allegro. then, simulation result looks like being a large delay when be as output pin. can you tell me what part of ibis model bring the delay different? thanks!

    Usually, if your IBIS model has the TV (Rising, falling) waveforms, this is the major delay part you would see in the simulation. However, HSpice did some Threshold tracking for their IBIS model simulations. This would cause some delay differences between HSpice and other IBIS simulators. It basically should be a smaller delay than HSpice simulation.
