    PCB SI 230 Documentation Reply

I am learning the PCB SI 230 tools by reading the documentation and doing examples provided. However, the PCB SI tutorial provided is for PCB SI 210 and some of the menu items referred to in the tutorial are non-existant. Where can I locate documentation specific to PCB SI 230?
    Thanks,
    Doug

Kind of in the same position as you are, when we queried his with Cadence the response was that there was no equivalent tutorials for the latest tools and that to get that info you would have to go on the official training.

For those who have current support there is product part number specific training, available free via Sourcelink. For those without a Sourcelink account, a more generic tutorial on the most popular product is available in the documentation that comes with the softward: Start>Programs>Allegro SPB 15.2>Tutorials. The instructions in this generic tutorial may vary slightly from product to product but is applicable for all part numbers.

Can you provide more information as to where the product part number specific training, available free via Sourcelink can be found?
We have Allegro PCB SI 610.

    Thanks

Product specific update training for the new features in 15.2 are found in sourcelink at http://sourcelink.cadence.com/docs/files/Training/spb152/spb152_index.html

    A note from Education Services:
When the new SPB SW release 15.2 occurred, Education Services did create Update training for those customers who already are using the SW and would like to know what is ONLY new in the new release. This Update training is placed on Sourcelink and will be accessible to those who have the authorization ID on sourcelink. This update training does not have complete product training, meaning it does not include labs and database nor downloadable ppt/pdf presentations. This is similar to the "What is new" section in the cadence documentation. So, those who still do not have the new SW release installed, can learn what is the change that has occurred compared to the previous release.
