Posting Code to the Forum Reply

When posting code to the forums, copy from a text editor such as notepad, not from word or Outlook. Be sure to click the HTML tab BEFORE you paste your text.

Click on the "html" mode tab on your "reply" dialog box. Then wrap your text with < code > like this:

    < code > pasted text < /code >

NOTE: Do not put a space in the < code > I have done that here so it will show up as text. Also, be sure to click the HTML tab BEFORE you paste your text. This is how it will look when coded correctly pasted text

RE: Posting Code to the Forum Reply

    Hi,
How do i post a new query?
I am not finding any tab which says "post your query". I searched extensively but ended up in naught. Thought of using reply window to post a query but that is not allowing me to change the subject. How do i do it? Need help.

Well, if you go to the main list of topics in a forum, e.g.

    http://www.cdnusers.org/Forums/tabid/52/view/topics/forumid/61/Default.aspx

There's an "Add New Topic" link at the top. That's where you create a new discussion topic.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
