Turn off the noise of a single Tansistor Reply

Hallo, is it possible to switch off the noise of one Transistor in spectre? I want to understand my noise and it would be nice to break down the problem

RE: Turn off the noise of a single Tansistor Reply

    Hello,
Most devices have an isnoisy instance parameter you can toggle on and off. Set it as such:

    M1 (net1 net2 net3 net4) myPmos w=(8u)*16 l=8u isnoisy=no

Doing this on a per instance basis from the analysis statement is not possible.

    Regards,

    Samir Jafferali

BTW, this feature was added in MMSIM62 Update 1 (MMSIM 6.2.1) (it has been available on resistors for years, but for transistors it is relatively new).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
