    What is this? Reply

    All,

While building a series of slots, I have been coming across a pink bar in my slot. I turned on all my layers but am unable to see it on the .brd. Bar  is not present in symbol. It seems to have no effect on thw board, so , what is it?

It looks to me like you have something defined in your padstack with a different size oval.  Maybe antipad, or something like that.  I would check your padstack first.

Does the pin have a net name assigned?  If so, this may be a thermal connection and you can Show Element on Cline to verify.

Open the Pad in Pad Designer and look at the Drill/Slot Symbol. It's probably that.

     Hi

Better you to check Thermal relief connections for thru pins (Shape--->Global Dynamic parameters)

    Chad,

Went back for a double-check and it was an outsized anti-pad. Everything is good in Hobbittville again.
