getting extend of visible objects Reply

    Hi

    Happy New Year.

Is there a method or workaround to get the extends (bounding box) of the currently visible objects?

Alternatively, is there a way to get the extents of all selected objects, that would work as well.

I've looked into a number of axl functions without finding anything so a hint is greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance

    Best regards

    Ole

    Hi Ole,

In one of my programs, I am zooming in bunch of selected nets using axlZoomToDbid function.

How about using axlWindowBoxGet after this?

    Hi

Thank you for the suggestion, I did look into this, the problem here being that axlZoomToDbid will only work for 20 or less dbids according to the documentation, which is the reason for not doing what you suggest, otherwise that would be the best way to get the extents.
