    Component_change.il Reply

    Hello,

Anyone out there are using the Component_changes.il, I tried to use it and it didn't work. I looked inside the file and its was written by Peter to work with Allegro 11 and later got modied to work with 14.2 by Ron Guthrie. Cadence Design Systems.

     I am using ver 16.6

It would be nice to compare 2 xxx.brd files to see what have changed since the previous versions.

    Thanks

    Regards,

    Tibo

Allegro and OrCAD has this ability inbuilt. Look at Tools - Design Compare, this comparse two xml files and will report the differences. You can create the xml file when you import the netlist (File - Import Logic, look for Create PCB XML from input data). If you want to get the skill file working probably best to post a question on the PCB Skill forum with errors and details.
