    Snap to symbol origin Reply
Hello - When dimensioning in16.6 I choose linear dimensioning and I am attempting to snap to the symbol center for one of my two picks.  I choose "Snap to Symbol Center" and my pick seems to consistently pick the symbol origin instead of the symbol center.  Does Symbol Center work?  If it does work what is the definition of Symbol Center?  In a rectangular shape for the place-bound I assumed it was the center of the rectangle.  Anyone know if this works?

    Hi Bud,

I also get the same. I am using V16.6 with S016 hotfix. Just to try something different I also moved a component placement outline and selected snap to shape centre. It snapped to the component origin :).

I am running 16.6 -S016. Symbols Center works for me on everything except linear dimensioning.  Datum dimensioning works, just not linear.  Looks like it might be broken.
