How do I re-load the .cadence directory via SKILL w/o restarting a session? Reply

I've searched documentation and submitted a ticket and find it hard to believe I'm the first person to ever have the need to re-load the .cadence directory. I have custom SKILL code loaded in the .cdsinit.user file which places a couple of key files in .cadence. However, due to the order, .cadence is loaded first. The tools don't see the files I placed unless a user re-starts their session (not desireable).

Any solutions out there..a secret trigger command.??

    Thanks!!

Which "key files" are you talking about? It could well make a difference...

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Hi Andrew, I need to have the .cadence/icons directory re loaded and the property dictionary file. Have you been able to re-load the directory or these files, the regular SKILL load command doesn't work. Thanks, Julia

For constraint manager. I load custom Ckt Prospector structures and place custom constraints...etc. I wrote a paper at last years CDNlive but I've sense progressed.  I load my custom code via the user .cdsinit The code places these custom files but they aren't recognized since .cadence was already loaded. I can't have users restart their sessions...
    Any solution come to mind?
