    difference between cell_rise and rise_transition in library Reply

     Hi All,

    I have a doubt regarding library ,

    In library for a combinational cell there are  cell_rise and rise_transition 7x7 tables defined as below ,

      cell_rise(delay_template_7x7) {

    -------------

    }

     rise_transition(delay_template_7x7) {

    -------

     }

     what is the difference between these , and i am seeing both index1 and index2 values are same for both the tables.

    cell_rise is the rise delay through the cell based on the input slew and output load. rise_transition is the slew at the output pin based on the input slew and output load.
