    About the deleteWaveform() command in OCEAN script Reply

    Hi everybody!

    Does anyone know what the "x_index" refer to in the OCEAN command deleteWaveform( {x_index | all_string} ) ? The OCEAN Reference said it is a integer identifying a particular waveform curve. But what is it? How can I get the integer? I am still confused. I tried the window number, but got an error message undefined entity - 1. I appreciate it for your help.

    Regards,

    Winever.

    It's the order in which the waveforms were defined - although this might depend on the version you're using (and if IC5141 whether you are using AWD or wavescan) - it rather helps if you say.

    I can do:

    awvGetWaveNameList(currentWindow())

    and I get:

    ((1 3 4 5 6)
        ("/CLK" "HOLD_TEST" "/INM" "/INP" "/OUTM")
    )

    (I've already deleted waveform 2)

    If I want to delete HOLD_TEST, I do:

    deleteWaveform(3)

    The numbers in the first list correspond to the second list names. I did this in IC615.

    Hope that helps,

    Andrew.
