    Is there a way the turn on/off the stroke key feature in cadence session?

    Yes. Define the bindkeys to either call hiStroke or not. So for example, you might do:

      hiSetBindKey("Layout" "<DrawThru3>" "hiStroke(hiGetCommandPoint())")

    to enable it, and:

      hiSetBindKey("Layout" "<DrawThru3>" "hiZoomIn()")

    to set it back to the default "drag zoom" behaviour.
