    How to edit Bus label both in Copmpser & Virtuoso Reply

     Dear All,

    In compser-schematic ( pressing Key-L for labelling , and using multple line option in the form) and in virtuoso(may be using Turbotool box), one can create a label let's say ( ABC<0:64>) for the BUS and place it at the appropriate locations

    But suppose I want to edit the BUS label already placed ( say from ABC<0:64>) to XYZ<0:64>). I don't want to create them again and then take the pain to place again at desired locations.

    Is there any way I can achieve this .

    Kind Regards,

    Edit->Search->Replace (in IC5141)  or Edit->Replace (in IC615), and then:

    Search For: netName == abc<*>
    Replace With: netname  xyz<{1}>

    Hit Apply to do the Search, and then ReplaceAll to replace the labels. The {1} is referring to the first wildcard in the search pattern.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

     Dear Andrew,

    Thanks a lot for your reply.

    But in virtuso, I tried the same technique ( mine is IC5141). But in the Search form I was not able to enter the label name itself.

    What is the issue I couldn't figure out.

    Kind regards,
