How to change calculator default settings? Reply

Not a huge issue, but I'm annoyed how the stack always comes up by default in the calculator and compresses the function list. I don't normally need to see the stack, so I uncheck View->Show Stack. Is there a way to set this as the default option so I don't have to do it every time I bring up the calculator window? Thanks.

Assuming you're talking about IC615 (or even IC614, I think), it should remember this from one invocation of virtuoso to the next (automatically)...

I'm using IC615. It doesn't remember from one instance of the calculator window to another, let alone the virtuoso session. Is there maybe a .cdsenv variable for this?

    Steve,

Hmm, looks like a bug to me. The other View-> items are remembered, and View->Show Stack used to be remembered in IC614. There isn't a cdsenv that controls this as far as I know.

Please log this with customer support so that we can get this fixed.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
