VCAR OA Filter VIA Layers Issue Reply

I am trying to filter out all VIA layers while exporting the layout to VCAR to cut down the size of the database in Open Access. In CDB the all via defined were shown after export (recognized) but in OA only customVia Definitions are exported but not the standard via defintions. Since the datase size large I would like filter out all VIA layers and use only METAL layers without dropping any standard vias. Is there solution for this issue in terms of technology file update or abstraction rule file or any other command on the router itself.

To give more information: If we don't filter VIA layers all the standard vias are exported to the layout and routing works fine. But this does not serve the purpose of filtering for large design databse.

Please let us know if you know of any solution to this issue.

     Thanks

    Venu
