    cline midpoint Reply

    I need to find the midpoint of routed clines. I must cut in half exactly. Does anyone know a way to get this done?

    Thank you,

    Larry Thompson

    Hi Larry

    Having the coordinates at each end of a cline (l_pt1 l_pt2) you can calculate the length using axlMPythag to give you the length/distance of the cline

    length = axlMPythag(l_pt1 l_pt2)

    Then you can use  axlMUniVector to give you the midpoint

    result = axlMUniVector(l_pt1 l_pt2 length/2)

    Best regards
