    dbCreateArcByThreePoints, does it exist? Reply

    Hi, anyone ever tried to use the command dbCreateArcByThreePoints?

    I have tried to use it since it seems much more reasonable and easy to use than the regular dbCreateArc command, especially when you have a text file with center, radius and two angles.

    Command syntax:
    dbCreateArcByThreePoints(
    dbCellViewId cellViewId, dbLayer layer, dbPurpose purpose, dbPoint point1, dbPoint point2, dbPoint point3
    );

    Problem is that the virtuoso dont recognize the command, neither in IC6 or IC5:
    *Error* eval: undefined function - dbCreateArcByThreePoints

    Anyone knows what can be wrong?

    Thank you.

    Yes, it's not a SKILL function. It's documented in the Integrator's Toolkit Database Reference manual, and so is a C function that can be used by any writing an ITKDB application (C interface into the database).

    If you look in the documentation, it's not mentioned in the SKILL documentation at all.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
