    Wire Width - OA Reply

    Hi,

    Could some one help me with operation code.

    I need a opertion that find the wire width during the creation of the wire and when selected.

     (in path we could find it under : le0PathForm->pathWidth->value )

     Roi.

    Hi Roi,

    Can you please clarify your question, as it doesn't really make sense.

    If you want to find the width of a selected path, just do:

    car(geGetSelSet())~>width

    Perhaps if you explained what you need the information for - what the purpose is - then your question  may make sense?

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    HI Andrew,

    There is a sense when you are creating wire and during that you want to change his params .

    by the function that i sent above you can get the param of the item during the creation of a path like  width or metal.

    I need the same operation but in "Wire" not in "Path"...

    This you could Find by:
                       a=hiGetCurrentWindow()
                       cmnd=hiGetCurrentCmd(a)
    Those Opertions give you the Cummand you are now.

    Buttom line .. I need the way to find the the width of the Wire during Editing.

    Thank you for the Fast Respond.

    Roi.

    Hi Roi,

    I believe Andrew had already answer your question. Wire is also known as "pathSeg".

    To get the width, you just need to get the ID of the wire (eg: wire_id), then wire_id~>width

    Perhaps you can tell us/eleborate what exactly you are trying to do.

    Regards

    How
