    Time average transient waveforms??? Reply

    Hi all

What's the best way to perform a time average on a set (tran-sweep) of transient waveforms?  I'm doing a multiple-run transient noise analysis and want to view the averaged data and perform a psd on that average as well.

     Thanks...Rob

To clarify, are you looking for the end average value or are you looking for the average of the waveform at each point in time?

The end-average value can be calculated with the average() command.  If you are looking for the instantaneous mean of a waveform, you'll probably have to write your own skill routine to do this.
