    unbound variable Reply

    Dear All,

I am using IC5141 and currently I am run into a problem: After typing "icfb&", I got the following error message on the CIW window:

    unbound variable - home.

Can anyone give me a hand? Thanks.

My guess is that you have a variable home in your .cdsinit file. This may be in your working dir, your home dir, or in <ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/local - or possibly elsewhere if in IC613 (can try typing "cdswhich .cdsinit" if you're using IC61).

It may be in a file loaded from the .cdsinit too.

I don't think it's in the Cadence software; it's in some customization file.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Dear Andrew,

Thank you very much for your help. This is the exact solution to my problem since I setup an unnecessary variable in .cdsinit before.

    Have a nice day!
