     Which release?

The derived layers defined in the techFile in IC6.1 are used automatically by DRD. If you want to derive a drawn layer, you have to use the layer booleans. Look in cdsFinder for dbLayer and this will list the layer booleans available. You can then find examples in the help manuals.

    Good evening sir,

I am using VXL version v5.10.41.500.5.109.

Thank you for the response. Assuming I want to derive the F layer of a vertical transistor (VPNP), How should I do it in SKILL?
