    What is your definition of floating?

    Is this layout or schematic?

    in schematic only

    means just it is a wire ,i.e empty wire drawn in the view.

    In a cell if it finds wire drawn not connected to any of the pins or nets or instances,

    i want to delete like that type of wires.

    Thanks and regads

    floaters=setof(net cvId~>nets !(net~>instTerms || net~>term))
    foreach(floater floaters
      foreach(fig floater~>figs dbDeleteObject(fig))
      dbDeleteObject(floater)
    )

    Should do it. cvId is the database Id of the cellView you're cleaning up.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
