    ocean problem &ocnPrint! Reply

    I write ocean script for parameter analysis and use ocnPrint to print some simulation result.

    For example:

    fp=outfile( "./paramResults.out" "a" )

    risetime_netA=riseTime(clip(VT("/C5") 5e-08 9e-08) 0 nil VAR("core_voltage") nil 10 90)*1e09

    ocnPrint(?output fp ?numSpaces 2 ?width 12 )

    After the simulation, the results in the file "paramResults.out" as following:

    ###############################################################

    riseTime(clip(VT("/C5") 5e-08 9e-08) 0 nil VAR("core_voltage") nil 10 90)*1e09

    xxx  xxx  xxx  xxx  xxx  xxx

    xxx  xxx  xxx xxx  xxx  xxx

    ###############################################################

    How can I get the results as following,use the "expression name" to replace the "expreesion"?  And also add some comments automatically at the end or begin of the results.

    ###############################################################

    risetime_netA

    xxx  xxx  xxx  xxx  xxx  xxx

    xxx  xxx  xxx xxx  xxx  xxx

    ; comment

    ###############################################################

    The other question is how to write a script to run paramatic analysis and corner analysis at the same time!!

    Thanks in advance!!

     Hello,

      You cannot customize what ocnPrint will write.  However, since you are arlready using file ports, you can print your expression name and comments both before and after your ocnPrint command using fprintf.  When using ports always remember to close them with close().
