    TC1796 Part Reply

    Hello,

I have to design a Layout und PCB with an Infineon TC1796 Processor but I cannot find the correct Part in my ORCAD Ver.16.

So the Processor is in an P-BGA-416 Package and I am to lazy to create it by myself.

And so I would by very pleased if someone has the PART of those Processor or if some knows where I can get an similar PART with a P-BGA416 Package.

     thanks in advance

     thomue

If you are really too lazy to creae footprints yourself try http://www.pcblibraries.com/ The software will create footprint files directly for most PCB Design tools but also has extensive libraries of IPC7351A approved parts and is very inexpensive.

    Regards

    Steve

    Hi,

Place the desired footprint in a max file save it. Then open PCB Editor and do a File>Import>Orcad Layout. After the max file is translated do a File>Export>Libraries.

Review the translated footprint and padstacks for accuracy.

    Regards,

Have you tried the new part wizard in Allegro (OrCAD)?
