    Approaching Cadence Reply

I and my group of research are very interested to know more about the cadence
products and solutions. I would like to ask some suggests about what to buy (the
basic system and some licenses) to start an activity of custom analog IC design.
I'm new of cadence so I ask some help to know what is better to buy to begin an
activity of custom analog design. I've seen the europractice licenses, what features
offers every licence? What are the possible features for simulations?
    Thanks for helping me,

     Hi Luca,

Since you mention Europractice I will assume that you are in Europe and possibly associated with a University. It is probably best for you to go to the Cadence website in order to see the product offerings available, and to find the appropriate Sales contact.  You will want to start with the Custom IC Design page.  We have the Spectre circuit simulator and Ultrasim etc. for simulation, and you will want the Analog Design Environment plus Schematic entry as a minimum toolset.

Let me know if you need more help.

    Best regards,
