test ports, test circiuts in conformal compare Reply

    Hi there,

I'm comparing gate level netlist with the final netlist with test ports and test circuits.
There're unmapped instances and ports. How can I turn them off during comparison?

    Many Thanks
    Joseph

    Joseph,

Usually, you want to set scan_enable and test_enable inactive with a pin constraint. You would also want to ignore the test pins. Here are some example commands:

add pin constraint 0 scan_en -revised
    add ignore input abc -revised
    add ignore output xyz -revised

    Hope this answers your question.
