    RE: fsdb Reply
    Hi,

Are you using it for emulation or simulation acceleration?

If you are using it for emulation, please find the Incisive XE Emulation User's Guide, Chapter 6 or Runtime and Debug concepts.

Basically, you need to select one of the tracing modes (like FV, FVDT etc.) during compile and during run, in the questDebug GUI or QEL commandline, select FSDB as waveform format, add probes for the signals or scopes you want to view, optionally setup a trigger using SDL and then the system generated an FSDB file for you when you run emulation.
