Bringing a grahic symbol into a Orcad Layout library Reply

I have a symbol that I am trying to make a footprint in the library.  This footprint wil be used on the silkscreen layer.  I have been able to convert a DXF file of the symbol into a MAX file and open it in Layout.  Question is, how do I get it into a fooprint in a library so that I can then place it on the board?

You can attach the MAX file to the Library Manager, Tools>Library Manager, Add... change the type to "board (.MAX)" The components in the board will be listed on the left. Select the component to modify it, if required, then use the Save / Save As to save the component to a new, or existing library, do not save your components to the provided libraries.
