    dbWriteSkill() Documentation Question Reply

    The g_ref param has this description:

    The default is to not dump the reference cellviews. If this
    argument is set to t, then all the cellviews that the source
    cellview directly or indirectly referenced will be written out.

    What is a reference cellview? Is this a broad term for all instances, mosaics, and vias in a cellview?

    Yes, the g_ref argument corresponds to any "referenced" cell data, including instances, mosaics, and vias.

    This might also include pins for a schematic design, I'm not sure I have not checked.

    Does this answer your question?

    Regards.
