Technical support Cadence® Customer Support is available to answer your technical questions. To contact Customer Support, have your designated Technical Liaison log a service request through Cadence Online Support. Service requests will be limited to installation issues.
Cadence Online Support The licensing Professor and the designated Technical Liaisons have access to Cadence's on-line source for help documents, technical bulletins, applications notes, release patches, etc. Cadence Online Support is accessible via the web—you will receive a SourceLink account as the Professor or an approved Technical Liaison for your school.
Software downloads After License Renewal, Technical Liaisons are able to download media at their convenience using their online support accounts.
Free, Self-paced CDSDoc Training CDSDoc is a critical tool for mastering Cadence software, and free, self-paced Cadence Design Systems Documentation training is available to all customers. To take advantage of concise lab exercises that walk you through CDSDoc, the Cadence® online documentation system, point your browser to: Cadence Online Documentation System
This training demonstrates key concepts behind CDSDoc. Video animations illustrate and reinforce each lab exercise. You can watch videos that quickly convey how to use CDSDoc and follow the lab guide (PDF format) online or print it.
Training on Cadence tools The licensing Professor and the designated Technical Liaisons are able to attend most Cadence tools training classes free of charge but on a space available basis. Classes are also available on the Internet. The Internet Learning Series (ILS) is also free of charge. Two in-person-attendance classes per year may be taken by the licensing Professor or the Technical Liaisons. The number to call for course information, schedules and locations is 1.800.787.2460.
