Thank you for attending CDNLive Japan 2013!
This year’s 25th Cadence User Conference in Japan, coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Cadence, is strong proof that this conference has been consistently well recognized and supported by customers in Japan.
Keynote speakers: In front of a fully packed audience, CDNLive Japan was kicked off with the keynote session by Ryoichi Kawashima, President of Cadence Japan. Kawashima-san shared recent Japanese customer endorsements for Cadence, thanked global sponsors and local partners for supporting the event, then introduced the Advisory Committee members supporting the technical programs. Lip-Bu Tan, Cadence President and CEO, came up to the stage to give his speech of "Exciting Opportunities for Great New Products" which can drive the market opportunity. Then, CDNLive Japan welcomed guest speaker Mr. Kazunari Nakamura from Olympus, who shared the view of future medical electronics with imaging technology for a better quality of life for all human beings.
Technical sessions: The full program for CDNLive Japan 2013 covered 20 customer presentations and 10 Cadence sessions, including a LPB Round Table session where the moderator from Cadence, presenter, and audience intensively discussed the mutual issues of co-design and LPB.
Open Demo: In the Open Demo area, 12 sponsors/exhibitors from ecosystem partners demonstrated their complementary solutions for Cadence users. All exhibitors met large numbers of solid Cadence customers and introduced their ecosystem solutions.
Networking opportunities: CDNLive Japan 2013 concluded with beer and chat at the “Cadence Beer Station,” where all attendees and partners were invited to share, connect, and inspire each other. Many customers enjoyed this happy hour and promised to meet again at CDNLive Japan next year!
