Giving tribute to pioneering developments judged as the most beneficial to the design engineering community, the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) today announced the winners of the prestigious 2007 DesignVision Awards.
Cadence® Space-Based Router was selected winner of 2007 DesignVision Award for Best ASIC and IC Design product. The Space-Based Router is an innovative gridless, full-chip and block routing convergence solution for advanced mixed-signal, analog and custom digital designs at 65, 45 nanometers and below. The router provides a hierarchical, constraint-driven, interactive/automatic design closure environment that addresses sophisticated DFM/DFY and electrical interconnect issues, maximizes productivity and improves quality of results.
Winners were chosen from a record number of competing products by a panel of judges selected from DesignCon's Technical Program Committee. This year's Technical Program Committee consisted of 96 of the industry's top thought leaders.
Our DesignVision Awards honor those catalyzing positive change in high-technology, business, and academia, completely in line with the IEC's mission. We're pleased to give tribute to the innovators who have helped advance progress in electronic design.Roger Plummer,Executive Vice PresidentIEC
