Cadence OrCAD 16.6 was one of just four electronic design automation (EDA) solutions that made the 2012 Best Electronic Design Award list. The winners, announced in a recent special edition of Electronic Design
, represent the cream-of-the-crop technologies, products, and standards in 2012.
The latest PCB design solution from Cadence, OrCAD 16.6, offers new features, enhanced customization capabilities, and significant performance improvements to help customers achieve a shorter, more predictable path to product creation. A key feature of the 16.6 release is a new signal integrity flow starting from schematic entry. The flow introduces a higher level of automation to increase ease-of-use and electrical engineering productivity, especially during circuit simulation high-speed digital circuits.
“It makes us extremely proud that OrCAD was awarded this honor,” says Josh Moore, Director of Product Marketing for OrCAD, System and Software Realization Group, Cadence. “This award validates our ongoing commitment to evolving and advancing Cadence mainstream PCB design solutions.”
