Cadence Incisive Enterprise Simulator 13.1 Speeds Completion of Low-Power SoCs

On May 6, Cadence announced a new version of its Incisive® Enterprise Simulator that improves low-power verification productivity by 30%. The Cadence® Incisive Enterprise Simulator 13.1 addresses low-power verification challenges such as modeling accuracy, debug, and power format support to provide faster, more thorough verification for today’s most complex systems on chip (SoCs).

The latest version of Incisive Enterprise Simulator features enhancements including:
  • Incisive SimVision debug enhancements for visualization of power intent and simulation increase productivity
  • New version delivers low-power usability enhancements and improvement in simulation performance
  • Delivers enhanced CPF support, and extends support for IEEE 1801
The new debug features in Incisive SimVision Debugger increase productivity by 30% by providing simple visualization and interactive debug of both complex text-based power intent standards.

Enhanced support for CPF and newly added support of IEEE 1801 will make these enhancements available to all low-power engineers.

These capabilities will be available in the Incisive 13.1 software release in June.
