    Hi there, HDL DE newbie here. We're doing a multi-site design schematic entry with part name ref des as, say, 1R1; where 1=site num and R1= is resistor 1. I would like to know how to copy the component or the whole site schematic wherein the parts ref des will be updated to it's respective site...

  • DE HDL v16.5 -- Bus Tap

    DE HDL noob here... why is that i couldn't place a wire tap between a bus and symbol pin?... prompted with a warning "Could not find body for CTAP". TIA!

  • Design Entry HDL grid errors

    I have been trying to build a schematic and the grids are not loading properly. Under Tool, Options, Grids, I have set my grid to Decimal, Show Logic Grid - On, Size 0.025, Multiple 1. But the console show my grid as size 0.024 1. When I check the grid size I have dots at 0.012 pitch.??????? Can anyone...

  • Component Browser: Footprint is not defined for a part.

    Hi, After creating part/symbol in Part Developer using PCB Librarian, I tried to test the part in DE HDL through PCB Librarian. When I placed the part, Component Browser shows an error, Footprint is not defined for a part. What might be the cause of this error? But when I tried to export the schematic...
